This dual degree prepares students for careers in general management, banking, financial management, accounting and information systems. In the commerce component, students gain an understanding of accounting and value aspects of business activities within different environments, and can refine their skills by choosing to major in accounting, business analytics, business information systems or finance. The course balances core skills with specialist knowledge, enabling students to adapt to the business world by applying business principles in practice. Complement these skills with the critical thinking, data analysis, problem-solving, creative thinking, advanced technical capabilities and communication skills gained in the science component of the program. Choose a science specialisation from one of the broadest ranges of scientific disciplines in Australia and widen your career choices. For more information, visit Bachelors of Commerce/Science at UQ.
