Course outline

The Bachelor of High Performance Sport provides an extensive knowledge and skills base relevant to human performance from the physiological, psychological, bio-mechanical and nutritional perspectives. Students will gain the skills to optimize sports performance through analysis, exercise programming, and the strength and conditioning of athletes. Students will also learn to design and deliver programs to enhance athletic performance and reduce the likelihood of injury and illness.
This course is 3 years or 2.5 years minimum duration. Students commencing this course in Semester 1 can accelerate their studies in order to complete the course in 2.5 years. This will require enrolment in summer and winter terms and is therefore only one of two options, as it might not be feasible for all students.
