Course outline

The course provides students with a highly marketable qualification designed to enable them to gain entry into the legal and psychology professions. The psychology component, gives students a comprehensive overview of the scientific discipline of psychology and its applications. There will also be opportunities for you to explore applied and professional uses of psychology. In the Bachelor of Laws, students will learn all areas of law required to satisfy professional accreditation through the Legal Practitioners Admissions Board. If graduates complete the course with a GPA of 5.5 or above in the level 2 and level 3 Psychology units, they may be eligible for a place in CQUniversity’s Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) course, which prepares them for conditional registration as psychologists in Australia. For more course information, visit Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science (Psychology).

Note

The Bachelor of Science (Psychology) requires students to have completed a bachelor degree for entry, hence students will need to complete the Bachelor of Laws first or rely on a bachelor’s degree they have already completed.
