This degree will put you on the path to a career in the pharmacy, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or nutraceutical industries. At the No. 1 university for overall student experience in pharmacy (Good Universities Guide 2023/24), you’ll gain practical experience in state-of-the-art facilities, including our immersive virtual learning environment, formulation, pharmacology and analytical laboratories, and during professional practice placements. Our focus on interprofessional learning means that you’ll be well equipped to be part of the healthcare team after you graduate. You will gain a strong grounding in biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences, providing the foundation for systems-based integrated pharmacotherapeutics and pharmacy practice courses. You will take specialist courses in areas such as pharmacy management, complementary and alternative medicine, and pharmacology.
