Course outline

In the higher education diploma year, students develop an understanding of the core concepts required in business, hotel management and tourism industries. On successful completion of the diploma, students progress into the Griffith University degree. This degree provides highly motivated students the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of government and international relations in the modern world and the forces that shape these dynamics at the global and domestic levels. Students learn about international security, trade, international organisations and human rights, political institutions and processes, business–government relations and more. In the first three years, students explore the politics, policy making and international dynamics that have shaped the contemporary world. In the fourth year, students acquire high-level research skills and take a deeper dive into the topic of their choosing.
