Develop the specialised skills needed to be an outstanding performer or composer. This course will provide opportunities for students to perform and develop stagecraft, access studios and software to develop song writing and recording skills, and will also give learners access to a network of other like-minded music and sound production students. In this course students will hone their skills in stage performance, song writing and recording. TAFE Queensland’s highly experienced and passionate teaching team have years of industry experience and will provide students with one-on-one guidance to prepare them for a career in the music industry.

Completion of Year 12 or attained Year 12 leaving age; Audition
1 December 2025 for semester 1, 2026 entry; 12 May 2026 for semester 2, 2026 entry. To be considered after these dates, interested applicants should contact the relevant TAFE Queensland campus directly on 1300 308 233.
Audio demo/portfolio submission is required separate to the QTAC application. TAFE Queensland will send out official correspondence inviting audio demo/portfolio submission once the QTAC application has been submitted.
