Upon successful completion of this diploma, you will be offered guaranteed entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Nursing. Prior to enrolling in Year 2 courses, you’ll undertake the intensive 1809NRS Effective Nursing Practices course at our Gold Coast Campus, approximately six weeks prior to the start of the university’s first trimester. The Diploma of Nursing Science and Bachelor of Nursing together form an approved pathway to register as a registered nurse in Australia; the diploma alone does not qualify you to work as a nurse in Australia.
