QTAC School Reports

QTAC School Reports contain data that shares QTAC Application and student ATAR data back to schools, for those students that have consented to sharing their ATAR.

For those wishing to gain access to QTAC School Reports in 2025, your school principal or head of school must authorise the Access Request Form and it is best that you request that they complete this form on your behalf. Access cannot be granted over the phone. Please fill out the Request Access form.

ATAR registration and resources are available here

The 2024 ATAR Report was released in February 2025. You can view and download copies of the annual ATAR Reports on our Media Centre.

Click here to access and download the 2025 QTAC Year 12 Guide.

Distribution of the printed Guide has commenced and delivery will be completed in June.

Did you know we print over 50,000 copies of the QTAC Guide and arrange for all-school distribution in Queensland? The process to achieve a consolidated guide is mammoth. We build this guide in conjunction with the institutions that are scheduling available courses in the coming admissions year – well ahead of time.

QTAC are one of the few remaining TACs in Australia to deliver a tertiary education guide in print and only one of two to deliver the guide in as much detail.

Our postage volumes per school are provided to us each year but you can adjust these when invited to via email. If you received excessive or not enough guides last year, and need more or less this year, your opportunity to adjust guide volumes will be available in a form sent in our From the Desk email. Please note once you unsubscribe from this email, you cannot be added back to the list. If you haven’t already, you can subscribe to our school community emails below.

The 2028 QTAC Year 10 Guide is now currently available for order. Order your Guides here.

The Digital Year 10 Guide for 2028 is a free online resource that is now available in the Schools Portal.

See the QTAC IB Studies page for detailed information about the new IB Admissions Score (IBAS) and IB to Rank conversion process.

QTAC School Portal Troubleshooting

QTAC School Portal Troubleshooting

For the QTAC School Portal, you need to login with the username we assigned you, not your school email address. You can find your QTAC assigned user name in your welcome email and it is in the format firstname.lastname@qtac.edu.au.

If it gives you the option to sign in with a different account, try this first. If it doesn’t, try signing into your school account and then sign out via the user icon in the top right corner. If this doesn’t work, please try the following in this order:

  1. Open your web browser in private/incognito mode
  2. Use a different browser e.g., use Chrome for your school Microsoft account and Firefox for the QTAC School Portal
  3. Clear your web browser cache.

Take a screenshot of the error message and email it to go.enquiries@qtac.edu.au along with a brief description of the issue and your contact details.

To have your password reset, please call our Guidance Officer enquiry line on 3703 1048, or email go.enquiries@qtac.edu.au.

Access to QTAC School Portal is readily given, however, access to QTAC School Reports has changed in 2023.

Important points for you to be aware of are:
• QTAC School Reports are now in Power Bi
• Only 4 staff can have access to Power Bi, QTAC School Reports
• A Principal or Head of School will be given access to QTAC School Reports
• A Principal or Head of School needs to authorise staff to have access to these reports
• Data provided to your school is in accordance with QTAC’s Corporate Privacy Policy

QTAC School Presentations

2025 Online presentations are now available for bookings.

Our QTAC Presenters understand the value of sharing key information about QTAC, ATAR, Applications, and Insights. QTAC staff undergo police checks, and presenters at in-school presentations have up-to-date Blue Cards. The information we cover is designed to be useful, engaging, and educational.

Do your students need to know where to start when applying to tertiary education?

Look no further! Our QTAC Presenter will start by introducing you to who we are and what we do, followed by admission criteria, and an overview of the ATAR. You’ll also learn about preferencing and responding to offers, and our QTAC Presenter will explain how adjustment schemes like EAS may assist your QTAC application.

Looking for more information on specific courses? Our QTAC Presenter will show you how to find course information and provide you with key dates to keep in mind. And if you need additional help along the way, we have a range of helpful resources and our contact information is readily available.

Don’t let the application process be a source of stress. Let your QTAC Presenter guide you through the process step-by-step, so you can focus on preparing for the next exciting chapter of your academic journey.

Are you curious about the ATAR and other pathways into tertiary education? Our ATAR presentation has got you covered.

Our QTAC Presenter will start by breaking down the terminology you need to know, so you can understand the QCE system and what’s expected of you. Then your QTAC Presenter will give you an overview of the ATAR, including how it’s calculated and what it means for your future studies.

Your QTAC Presenter will cover subject prerequisites and VET qualifications, so you know what you need to achieve to pursue your dream career.

Lastly, we’ll bust some myths and rumours that you may have heard about the ATAR.

Bookings outside of QTAC’s business hours incur an additional fee. Please reach out to presentations@qtac.edu.au to discuss availability.

Plan Ahead for In-Person QTAC Presentations in Your Region

Each year, QTAC delivers both in-person and online presentations to support students, parents, and school staff with the application process. While online delivery remains the most accessible and flexible delivery option, we know the value of in-person to school staff and to our applicants.

This year we’re prioritising in-person travel bookings that align with existing regional visits. This enables us to make delivery more reliable, supports staff wellbeing, and helps us meet demand across Queensland. By coordinating visits, we avoid the strain of ad hoc scheduling, which allows us to offer local-area rates across all regions. Places are limited and will be allocated based on alignment with scheduled travel.

To help you plan ahead, we’ve outlined below when QTAC will be in each region and when in-person presentations can be booked. Simply find your region and select a time that works best for your school.

Check the dates for your region below, and follow the link to book your in-person session.

You’ll also be asked to confirm your school during checkout. If it doesn’t appear under that region, we recommend checking the others nearby.

If you’re not sure which region your school fits into, click here <<pdf>>.
