Course outline

UQ’s Bachelor of Architectural Design will equip you to design spaces where life happens – where we live, work, learn and connect. In this field, you’ll combine bold ideas with technical know-how to shape environments that are functional, sustainable and inspiring. You’ll study design principles, sustainability, emerging technologies and more – plus, you’ll experiment with architectural form through our design studios, which connect you with the life of leading contemporary practice (they’re also a lot of fun). Our inspiring educators will share real-world experiences from their own work and provide valuable mentorship on navigating the professional landscape. This course is the first step to becoming a professional, registered architect in Australia. For more information, visit Bachelor of Architectural Design at UQ.
