In the animation major, students will initially focus on illustration and 2D animation, before exploring 3D computer graphics, 3D character design, 3D character animation, motion graphics and visual effects. In the graphic design major, students will explore units in photography and visual design, before learning about print design, visual communication, social media management, typography and colour. In the interactive media major, student will focus on web design and programming, before exploring game design, game development, user experience design and mobile application development. In the screen production major, students will focus on digital video and audio production and screen industry practice, before expanding into screenwriting, documentary filmmaking, narrative filmmaking, video editing and post-production. This course also provides students with the opportunity to engage with clients on real-world projects through work-integrated learning opportunities, either via individual work placements or collaborative team-based projects.
