Course outline

This course prepares students to work as radiographers and enables them to provide safe and accurate imaging examinations in a wide range of clinical environments. Students are trained in a purpose-built environment and use the latest technology to ensure they graduate work ready. Education and training focuses on developing key competencies so students are confident in digital technology, community engagement and remote and rural innovation. By completing extensive work placements, students gain practical experience and apply their skills and knowledge in a real-world setting. Limited places are available at the Cairns campus with offers prioritised to Far North, Northern or Northwest Queensland (postcodes: 4806-4828, 4830, 4849-4895) applicants; any remaining places will then be allocated to applicants from other regions in Queensland.
For more course information, visit Bachelor of Medical Imaging.
