The Diploma of Creative Media at CQU offers foundational training for a range of entry-level roles in the media and communications industry. Students will explore foundation units in communication and professional practice, before exploring more specialised areas, including illustration, animation, photography, visual design, web design, coding, digital video, audio, and screen production. Learn how to create digital media works using industry-standard software tools and techniques, whilst also learning to think critically, solve problems, communicate effectively, and work independently and collaboratively on practical projects. Students can also tailor their studies to suit individual strengths and interests, choosing three minors from: animation, graphic design, interactive media or screen production.
