Course outline

Master the craft of visual storytelling with the Diploma of Photography and Photo Imaging. With a focus on technical skills and hands-on experience in camera work, lighting, image manipulation and studio management, you’ll graduate armed with the experience to launch a career.

This course isn’t just about pointing and shooting – it’s about owning the entire creative and commercial processes. You’ll get confident with industry-standard software like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere, and gear up with DSLR cameras, studio lighting and video rigs. Whether you’re freezing moments in still images or bringing stories to life on video, you’ll learn how to handle projects from concept to completion with confidence. Real-world exercises and access to state-of-the-art studio spaces will let you refine your skills and push your creative boundaries.
