The Bachelor of Arts addresses opportunities and challenges at the intersection of technology, culture and society by providing vital knowledge and skills in critical and creative thinking in the Humanities and Social Sciences. It recognises that all sectors of the economy are shaped by technological change, creating opportunities for innovation as well as ethical dilemmas that require thoughtful and creative responses.

You will develop strong capabilities in analytical thinking, digital and information literacy, communication, project planning, collaboration, cultural awareness and ethical judgement. Study areas allow you to build expertise in areas such as society and culture, disaster and community recovery, technology for social good, community education, digital storytelling, interactive entertainment, crime and technology, cultural development, professional communication and public and social policy. As a graduate, you will be valued for your ability to understand social and cultural dynamics, respond to the links between technology and society, apply critical and creative thinking, and communicate with impact.
