Course outline

The Bachelor of Communication prepares you for a career in the rapidly evolving media, communication, entertainment and news industries. You’ll develop professional communication skills alongside critical and creative thinking, digital media literacy, research capabilities and authentic industry experience. Drawing on contemporary scholarship and industry engagement, the course provides opportunities to apply learning in real-world settings and build a strong professional identity. Graduates gain the knowledge and skills to critically analyse media and communication industries, create effective communication solutions, and contribute ethically and responsibly to organisations, communities and society.

The Master of Digital Communication builds advanced expertise in communicating with diverse audiences in a rapidly changing media environment. You will develop the skills to analyse data, create stories for digital platforms, understand the impact of digital technologies and automation on communication, and use industry-standard tools to investigate audience behaviour. The course emphasises research-informed, real-world learning and prepares graduates to address complex communication challenges through innovative, data-driven and culturally appropriate solutions.

Please note the Master program is subject to full tuition fees and does not offer Commonwealth Supported Places.
