University Preparation Program (UPP) is your free pathway to undergraduate studies at QUT. The course is designed for learners whose academic qualifications do not meet the minimum entry requirements for admission to QUT. This pathway program prepares you for undergraduate study by developing the academic skills and knowledge needed for success at university. Through foundational studies, you will build the skills required to support your future learning and transition to higher education.
Completion of the program with a passing grade point average will give you a selection rank of 70.00. Higher selection ranks can be achieved with higher grades, up to a maximum selection rank of 82.95. This selection rank can be used to apply for entry to QUT’s undergraduate courses. The course also covers the prerequisite subjects for QUT’s Bachelor of Education courses.
This pathway program is designed for students who have completed Year 12 (QCE or equivalent) or are 18 years old at the first QUT census date.
The QUT Offer Guarantee and Year 12 Subject Adjustment Scheme do not apply to this course.
