The Bachelor of Architectural Technology prepares you to reshape the future of architecture with cutting-edge digital tools. The first course of its kind in Australia, you’ll get deep into computer-aided design and building information modelling, giving you the technical edge needed to thrive in the built environment industry.
Learn the fundamentals of designing high-performance buildings, from concept development to digital modelling and construction documentation. Master the core principles of materials, structure and energy efficiency to take on sustainable and socially conscious design, solving real-world problems and challenging the way we think about space. Use the latest CAD software in a BIM approach to create buildings that blend physical and digital layers. Mentored by industry leaders, you’ll tackle live client briefs and gain practical experience in professional design environments, culminating in a final-year Architectural Technology Capstone project.

This qualification will provide you with an in-demand skillset ready to enter the architectural services industry in a variety of roles. You will also be prepared to apply to enter a Master of Architecture course, leading to work experience and the architectural exam, if your goal is to become a registered architect .
