Establish your career in the visual arts with this bachelor degree and develop a broad and coherent range of specialist knowledge and practical skills. Delivered in partnership with the University of Canberra, this unique degree provides students with an open and supportive studio environment to define and shape your career as a visual artist. In this course students will develop hands-on skills and techniques to build their abilities and understanding of contemporary art and culture. Students will also explore contemporary arts and expand into cross media, and multi-disciplinary visual arts practices. Graduates can develop their careers in a wide range of art, design, and culturally related fields including gallery exhibitions, arts education, arts administration, curating, exhibition, display design, public art and more.

QTAC applications for this program close: 6 December 2025 for semester 1, 2026 entry; and 12 May 2026 for semester 2, 2026 entry. To be considered after these dates, interested applicants should contact TAFE Queensland, South Bank on 1300 308 233 for more information.
Interview requirements are separate to the QTAC application. TAFE Queensland, South Bank will send out official correspondence advising applicants of interview dates once the QTAC application has been submitted.
