Course outline

This program provides students with the skills and clinical knowledge needed to be a paramedic. Students are trained in the areas of patient assessment, decision-making and practical skill acquisition that is required for working in the challenging setting of paramedic practice. Students complete clinical placements with Queensland Ambulance Service and in other healthcare settings to gain hands-on experience. These experiences are enhanced by on campus training labs that include simulated ambulances to improve their practical skills and clinical decision-making. This program has been designed by leading medical and paramedic staff who understand paramedic practice. For more program information, visit Bachelor of Paramedicine at UniSQ.
