This degree is designed to provide flexibility, while preparing students for a variety of work opportunities. It develops specialist skills through a choice of majors and minors that include biology, biotechnology, chemistry, ecology and mathematics, agriculture and aquaculture, genetics, microbiology and sustainability.

In this program students will graduate with depth and breadth of scientific knowledge and gain a strong foundation in cell biology, chemistry, biodiversity and ecology, and research methods. They can choose additional introductory courses in mathematics for those interested in specialisation. Students will learn in specialised labs and gain hands-on experience during field studies, preparing them for work in professional scientific settings.
