Course outline

Some courses in this program are scheduled to be offered at the Treasury Building at our Brisbane City campus in 2027. If scheduled opening is delayed, courses may be delivered all or in part at our other Brisbane locations.

Develop the analytical mindset of a scientist and the commercial insight of a business professional preparing you to succeed across industries at the intersection of innovation, technology, sustainability and enterprise. Whether your interests lie in protecting ecosystems, developing new technologies, tackling global health or environmental challenges or driving sustainable business practices, this double degree gives you the knowledge and practical experience to make an impact. In your science studies, you’ll be immersed in nature on our campuses, learn in modern labs and out in the field with access to specialist equipment, advanced analytical tools and real research environments. From marine and environmental fieldwork to genomic testing and experimental physics, you’ll build the skills to engage with real scientific challenges. In your business studies, you’ll build practical experience through applied projects, business simulations, the Griffith Tax Clinic, the Student-Managed Investment Fund and internships with industry partners. This degree gives you a competitive advantage across sectors where scientific understanding and business insights converge, allowing you to select majors across disciplines that suit your goals. You’ll be prepared for roles that require both technical knowledge and strategic decision-making. For more course information, visit Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Business at GU.
