Throughout this degree, you’ll explore four key areas: sport and exercise science, business and sport management, health promotion and sports coaching. Taught on the Gold Coast in world-class facilities, you’ll learn the fundamentals of sport development and study the specialist field of community development through sport, with a focus on designing sport pathways and systems to attract, retain and nurture participants. A major focus of the program is community development through sport, and you’ll gain practical and theoretical knowledge in areas like physiology, biomechanics, sport psychology and sociology, while also building strong business management skills. Get industry experience through an 80-hour internship, working with professional organisations and apply your learning to real challenges.
