Yes, you can only receive one offer in each offer round based on your highest eligible preference. If you list mid-year intakes above semester one intakes, you will only be considered for these semester two courses. Visit the Preferences page for further information on ordering your preferences.

Make sure you order your preferences carefully, so you don’t miss out on what you want to study.

  • Preferences 1 and 2 should be the most desired courses you want to study,
  • Preferences 3 and 4 should be backup courses you want to study that are considered less competitive,
  • Preferences 5 and 6 should be pathway courses that will help you upgrade into a preferred course

Category: Applying

You can use employment experience as a way to obtain a QTAC selection rank to improve your chances of getting into a course. Your employment experience does not have to relate to the course you want to study, unless specified. If you do not wish to use employment as the basis of your application, you can simply leave this out. If you have already listed this, you can request that we disregard it from your application.
