About

For almost 30 years, Griffith College has been helping students take their first step into university with confidence.

Our diploma programs are designed to offer an ultra-supportive start to higher education, providing all the tools required for students to thrive at university and beyond.

A Griffith College diploma doesn’t just open the door to university – it prepares students to thrive. Join more than 25,000 Griffith College graduates who have seamlessly transitioned into their dream degrees at Griffith University, gaining credit, confidence, and the academic skills to succeed.

Diploma to degree at Griffith University
Griffith College diplomas are university-designed and mirror the courses taught in a bachelor’s degree. They are designed to offer entry into over 60 bachelor programs at Griffith University – often with a full year of credit. This means students can start in the second year of their degree after just one year of study at the College**.

Entry requirements (no ATAR required)
Year 12 graduates are admitted regardless of their ATAR results and ATAR eligibility (i.e., those not on an ATAR pathway can be eligible). Non-school leaver applicants receive entry when they have obtained a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE), or equivalent from another state/territory, or a certificate III or higher qualification.

Apply for the diploma and bachelor in your application and receive an offer to move directly to university on successful completion of your diploma*.

Support to succeed
Griffith College believes that all people, no matter their background, have the potential to excel in study when given the appropriate tools and support.

Students benefit from small and interactive classes, a team of Student Learning Advisors available to offer one-on-one support and courses designed to improve academic and maths skills.
