This higher education diploma provides students with the essential skills and core concepts of engineering before progressing to university and specialising. Delivered by lecturers with global industry experience, the program covers mathematics, engineering science, engineering fundamentals, computing, and programming.
Students gain industry‑relevant foundational knowledge, practical experience, and the problem‑solving skills employers value. By completion, they are prepared for both an engineering career and successful transition into university study. This diploma is the first step toward careers in civil, electrical, environmental, mechanical and software engineering.
Upon successful completion, students can move into several different Griffith University engineering related degrees with credit.
